I fell in love with drawing after moving to a new country. I didn’t know the language at the time, so I turned to art and manga as a way to express myself. It taught me that you can say a lot without words, just through drawing.
I went on to study Cartoon and Comic Arts at university, and later trained as a qualified secondary school art and design teacher. While I loved teaching, I quickly realised that the classroom didn’t give me the creative freedom I was looking for. That’s when YolkyDolky was hatched, and it’s since grown to a combined audience of over 438K across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
